What can I take to stop feeling nervous?
I get nervous really easily, and I can’t control it. When I’m really nervous, which happens a lot, I feel sick and hot, and I start shaking.
Is there any sort of over-the-counter pill I can take to calm down? Sort of a herbal thing. Something effective, and available in the UK. If not, is there anything I can have prescribed? Some sort of anti-anxiety type drug?
Binaural Beats answers:
Today it is possible to reduce and remove your anxiety with binaural beats. Binaural beats will cause a shift in consciousness and change your state of mind so you won’t feel anxious.
Specialists in sound therapy and brain waves research have created specific binaural beats to relieve you from stress and anxiety.
Try this alternative treatment before resorting to prescribted medicine, since there will always be a possibility of side effects.
Binaural beats are safe to use. You just put on headphones and you feel the change within minutes.
It is guarenteed to work.
Sharon asks…
Why do binaural beats work for me even though I am deaf in my left ear?
Binaural Beats answers:
My understanding is that the signals don’t need to be conveyed along the whole auditory pathway, all that’s required is that the brainstem’s superior olivary nucleus receives appropriate stimulation through fluctuating electromagnetic field originating in the earpieces.
Here’s an undetailed link, that suggests that the nerves near the carotid arteries may have some relevance.

Binaural Beats answers:
It could work depending on your problem. The idea seems to be for those who focus to much and worry to much on what is going on, instead of expressing yourself. They take you to another state of conciousness and bring you back down, the idea is to relax your mind, make it so your not thinking so much as you are expressing yourself. There are other ways you could do this, try meditating and things of that nature. I think its trying to say that if you relax more and just let out the expression of that state of mind it might help you.

What activities that will have a positive impact on my anxiety?
I have an anxiety disorder and i’m recovering from something i guess you could call a mental breakdown. (Meaning depression/severe anxiety) I’m so much better, thank god, i’d say i’m about 85% back to the normal me. I’m a few months from turning 18, i’m a girl, i’m energetic, positive and i’m looking for activities that will have a positive impact on my health, mentally and physically.
I was thinking along the lines of beginning a martial art, ballet or something like that.
Suggestions?

Binaural Beats answers:
Cliff Notes: You may not be at fault here, triple check that everything is how it is supposed to be recorded, precessed and played and on the right type of equipment!
I have a recording background, and am familiar somewhat. I wish you included more info on the recording and output methods you included as they are very likely culprits.
“As a general rule, for true binaural results, an audio recording and reproduction system chain, from microphone to listener’s brain, should contain one and only one set of pinnae (preferably the listener’s own) and one head-shadow.”
Basically this means that not only does it have to be recorded with the right set up but the only outer ear (pinnae) would be yours. If you did not record it yourself or know the person who recorded it then it may be mislabeled as Binaural, not to trick you but because it is often imitated but seldom duplicated. Also, it can only be heard on head phones with a stereo channel in/out put. If you find your peers saying they hear it and you don’t and your hearing is in tact they may be also mistaken as the power of suggestion can convince people they experience a lot of things that simply did not occur, being the mind is that powerful. So don’t feel inadequate in the least just triple check against the websites that your sound chain is intact because there are specific requirements to attain the sound AND recording.
