I haven’t slept in three straight months?
I haven’t had insurance for the past 3-4 months, so i have been without the sleep aid: ambien. It helped my mental state a lot (because i was actually able to sleep at night) and i was wondering if any one knew if it’s available through the internet at all? I could still get it now but it would cost $60/month without insurance:/
Binaural Beats answers:
You could always try Brainwave Entrainment (BWE). I use this everyday for many different reasons. There are many different forms of BWE, but I suggest binaural beats or isochronic tones. If you are looking for a sleeping tone, check out iso-tones.com. My friend owns the site and makes all of the tones himself. I have tried many of them and have had high success rates.
For you I would suggest the Sleep session or the Nirvana/Sleep session. I use Nirvana/Sleep very often and I wake up very refreshed even if I only got 5 hours of sleep. (I feel like I had gotten 8) To use the tone, simply load it up and play it before bed. Simply focus on the pulsating beat in the background and you will be sleeping in no time. Use of headphones increases effect, but are not necessary (binaural beats you have to use headphones).
By the way, all the tones are free and if you are looking to combat insomnia, you should check out Transparent Corp’s website and products (Neuro-Programmer 2) at www.transparentcorp.com.
Good luck with your sleeping disorder.

Binaural Beats answers:
I am familiar with the work and research done by Robert Monroe and the Monroe Institute regarding “Hemi Sync”. Hemi Sync is a guided audio system intended to synchronize the hemispheres of the brain in order to stimulate it and to help facilitate it to function at a higher level. Robert Monroe was having “Out of body experiences” at one point in his life and did not know what they were or could not find much information on this subject. This was back in the 1960′s , and back then there was not much research being done in this area so he did it on his own and subsequently founded The Monroe Institute as a result. His pioneering work resulted in the Hemi Sync audio system also known as Binaural beats . As for listening to different sound waves and their affects, it would seem more experimentation as the results may vary between individuals. I would recommend looking to the work and experiments that have already been conducted by The Monroe Institute and other similar research . Listening to such audio can very much put you in a relaxed state and some have reported feeling more at peace over all . I have listened to it several times and I take a particular CD with me when I go camping. It is very complimentary to the over all experience and I highly recommend to anyone to listen to the Hemi sync CD’s. Take care.

Listening to binaural beats?
Hi, I read somewhere that to use bniaural beats correctly you have to use your imagination in order for your brain wave to change, is this true, or just a way of making people buy?
Binaural Beats answers:
Binaural beats can definitely help you achieve certain goal that you want to achieve. It can help you relax when you want to relax, it can help you sleep when you want to sleep but you can’t relax. If you are trying to calm your mind that wanders off often and you can’t get to the state necessary for meditation, and you listen to meditation beats, it can help you a lot.
But, if you don’t want to sleep, and you are listening to binaural beats for sleeping, you will not fall asleep. Your mind is stronger than the binaural beats.
I hope this helps, enjoy the binaural beats…
