John asks…

What is the most powerful meditation?

First let me explain what I know and that will lead up to what I want to know.

I’m aware that there are tons of meditations and have different goals. The one’s I have tried are:
(all of which are in a sitting position with spine erect, recently I got a meditation bench and I love it,it’s the best!!)

- Plain Meditation [mindfulness]
( Basically you observe your breath and leave you focusness wandering and observing thoughts, you keep coming back to the breath when getting caught up in thoughts, in other words when your observation point becomes interaction point then you must return your attention to the breath)
P.S. It is great to clear your mind a little and you might come to some good realisations throught that meditation but that’s about it, no higher state of consciousness or astral projection as I thought it could deliver after viewing the intro video on youtube :

- Kundalini Awakening (by Krishna Raj – Chakra Dhyana)
I have done this several times, really saying out loud the mantras. It is beautiful to listen to it and be a part of it.But nah, nothing extraordinary happening.Haven’t felt no Kundalini.I’ve done this meditation at least 10 times.I read a lot that it is dangerous to mess around with your Kundalini if you aren’t ready.Nothing happened at all.I felt relaxed alright.

- Binaural Beats
I have tried Alpha,Delta, Theta, different kinds, from 15 mins to 45. With headphones of course. What I did pretty much is a combination of plain meditation with binaural beats. What I noticed is that I had faster settle in the meditative state [well if you could call it that] of the plain meditation with 15 mins of binaural beats, after 15 mins the sound goes off and I am continuing my plain meditation in silence. As I said the same as the very 1st meditation but quicker settle in. No deep states as promised, no astral travel.
p.s. Tried it at least 10 times,I’m not saying it isn’t enjoyable only that it isn’t in the league as it promises or just it doesn’t work for me.

- 7 Centers Breathing
This is relatively unknown meditation, it consists of 45 mins of vigorous breathing into each chakra in 3 cycles of 15 mins.So far this meditation is THE BEST but it is hard work and definitely isn’t a daily one, rather more like weekly. Thanks to this meditation I started being aware of my chakras and really started feeling emotions in different parts of body. And also after the 45 mins cycle,I was in thoughtless state,it felt as if I (I means awareness not my body) was in a dark quiet room, lovely and comfortable, and this quiet room was in my head, you could say it was in the 3rd eye area inside my head, like reserved space, and I could see a purple colour in a wave like shape kinda moving about. It was interesting
I haven’t had such state with any other meditation.

- Lam,Vam,Ram,Yam,Ham,Om
I tried these mantras a few times, just to activate the chakras a little. Didn’t find it effective at all to be honest.

Now….I am no expert and might have made mistakes in my meditations that’s why I’m here, seeking advice from the more experienced. What is a power technique that will get me in deep meditative states, I mean really deep, after reading my question you should know what I mean by that. I want to reach to higher consciusness. Also some people say they can travel in the space and talk to avatars and ET beings, how do I get that kinda states?

Thank you.
@Lacrima V resurección:
I did try Zen meditation 3 weeks ago in a Zen Dojo nearby where I live and it is exactly the same as the”plain meditation” as I call it, only with difference that it is interlaced with you doing walking meditation and a hell of a lot Japanese doctrine. Something I can do without, nothing against that it you are ok with it, but I am not bowing all the time, and facing wall when meditating and then again bowing and bowing….

Binaural Beats answers:

I find what you call : Plain meditation which is traditional Buddhist meditation to be most effective, if you add some mantra music of your liking to it then its much more enjoyable.

Also theres something you could try…that should follow 4 minutes after Plain meditation… It’s not for everyone but it’s kinda fun,”visualization of your surrounding” …your room, your house, your neighborhood, which could lead to astral projection/travel stuff naturally. Or whatever they call them.
Now if I understand this correctly this happens to be the same as Pagen meditation also Witches meditation. Now I’m not a witch …just a spiritual person. I did talk to a couple of Buddhist nuns about this and they kinda freaked out and said it’s really bad somehow. But whatever it’s up to you.
Cheers and good luck.

Sharon asks…

How does I-Doser work? Is it just a placebo effect?

Binaural Beats answers:

I-Doser strongly differs between individuals. Some people cannot accept the signals into their brain. In all the people I’ve shown it to, the smarter ones that couldn’t control their thoughts and didn’t stop thinking long enough for their brain to process the signals, just didn’t work. The best way to make I-Doser work for you is to get in a dark room, relax, close your eyes, and do NOT think about anything. Then put on some headphones (THEY HAVE TO BE HEADPHONES, SPEAKERS WILL NOT WORK!) and just listen to the “track”. Also Don’t watch YouTube videos of it. If you watch other people do it, you set little expectations in your head that are too high, and if you do that, then your brain won’t feel anything, making you not feel anything.

Personally, I told my kid brother (aged 13) to do it. Okay it was somewhat sadistic, but I told him what it would do. He agreed, put on headphones and relaxed. 10 minutes later, when the “dose” of “hash” was over, he was totally gone (not in this world). He was laughing hysterically, and he told me this story:

“(laughing the whole time) Oh my god! I went to the bible… (laugh) … And I saw a man…(laugh)… And he was like 6’2″ tall!! Isnt’ that weird?!?!??” For the next 10-15 minutes he laughed hysterically after pointing to random things, like a broom. Also at one point he put his hands out like he was holding something and he said he was eating a pumpkin, then he was a jack-o-lantern.
20 minutes later he had little memory of it and wouldn’t believe me when I told him what he did and said. That is proof enough for me. I know he is nuts, but he couldn’t make that up.

From the I-Doser website: (you don’t have to read this part)

“Brainwave synchronization (entrainment) may be achieved when audio signals are introduced to the brain causing a response directly related to the frequency of the signal introduced, called binaural beats. Two tones close in frequency generate a beat frequency at the difference of the frequencies, which is generally subsonic. For example, a 500 Hz tone and 510 Hz tone will produce a subsonic 10 Hz tone, roughly in the middle of the alpha range. The resulting subsonic tone may affect the state of mind of the subject. The “carrier frequency” (i.e. The 500 Hz in the example above), is also said by some to affect the quality of the trans formative experience.”

The only thing about what the previous poster said was that he told his brother what was going to happen. The power of suggestion could make him believe that it is working. To be more accurate, he should have told his brother to just relax and tell what he felt after the “dose”.

Steven asks…

Kundalini activation?

Hello. If anybody could help me with this situation. I would appreciate it. Ok. I think I might have activated/unlocked my “Kundalini”. I believe this because I got most of the symptoms. Muscle twitches/spasms, Emotional numbness, Pressure in skull, Tingling in forehead, Loss of appetite, Loss of sexual desire. I believed I might have activated it through the use of “binaural beats“. If you don’t know what a binaural beat is. It is basically when 2 slightly different tones are presented in each ear creating a third tone in your brain, and it supposed to put you in a desired mental state of consciousness.

Im just wondering if these effects of kundalini is permanent, because I actually feel really uncomfortable with not having my emotions and my loss of sexual desire.

I am also kind ov freaked out because when I was researching this subject. It was saying something about going through a “paralysis”, and it was saying things about if im not “guided” I could get stuck in different “realms”… That kind ov freaked me out… I have no idea what they meant by that. And they were also saying that if you unknowingly activate your kundalini it could be dangerous.

This is all just crazy and to much for me… Are these effects permanent, because I literally feel like a zombie. Will my emotions, appetite, and sex drive come back?

Thank You.

P.S. I am a 16 year old male (not sure if that helps)

Binaural Beats answers:

Activated more than unlocked, in that without further cultivation things will tend to return to status quo ante.
Being “stuck” relates to chakra energy patterns, and is less dangerous than what happens when drugs force open delicate structures.
Binaural beats is somewhat unnatural, in that it forces awareness; however, it is imho basically less dangerous than some times of drugs.
So, be of good cheer, simply take relaxing walks in safe natural places on a daily basis, be glad it’s summer and not school time, maybe listen to some classical music (“Lark Ascending,” by Vaughn Williams, or some Bach or Beethoven, for example, either on classical radio station or via public library CD loan).

Joseph asks…

Youtube whisper/soft spoken ASMRs?

I have anxiety and insomnia and usually I can get to sleep by watching/listening to an ASMR video.. It calms me down and I relax but lately I seem to be finding the same videos… Does anybody know a channel or particular video that would help?

The link isn’t nessacary but appriciated x

Binaural Beats answers:

If you have never tried binaural beats to help you fall asleep I would definitely recommend giving them a try! I learned about binaural beats about a year ago when I had terrible insomnia, and they have help me more than I could have ever imagined.
Basically they work like a tuning fork and help to bring your brain into a “sleep state”
Myself and many others have found them very useful for falling asleep. Even my mom who is the biggest skeptic in the world uses them on nights she can’t fall asleep.
Here is a really good session on youtube for “deep sleep”

There is also a great website at http://free-binaural-beats.com that has over a hundred high quality binaural beat downloads as you can guess FOR FREE!

I hope they help you as much as they have helped me!
Namaste.
