Joseph asks…

Can I listen to my music at the same time as binaural beats?

I downloaded a Binaural Beat application and it had an option to turn on my music. Will having my music on interfere with the Binaural Beats? I can’t hear them as well obviously so I don’t know if they will still work or not.

Binaural Beats answers:

I listen to music with binaural beats. Often times binaural beat music will have other sounds mixed in with it anyways like birds or ocean waves. I would say it could become less effective but that also depends on the type of binaural beats that you are listening to. Some your brainwaves would pick up regardless because some forms of it are very strong and powerful.
If you listen to both I would say don’t put on rock or heavy metal music because that could drown it out. But other music is fine. Headphones work the best with binaural beats. Binaural beats are a great alternative to drugs but I try to limit how much I listen to them each day (unless I really need a lot of it) because sometimes they can have side effects both good and bad.

Thomas asks…

Is it bad to fall asleep while listening to Binaural Beats?

So I want to try using them to help lucid dream tonight and I was wondering if its bad to have it play while I am sleeping and possibly through a lot of hours of sleep (depending on if I wake myself up) Thanks a bunch!

Binaural Beats answers:

Your brain might implode into an extraterrestrial explosion colliding particles thus creating a black hole. Just kidding. The worst that could happen is a headache.

Helen asks…

Acid LSD for first time, what to expect?

I’ll start by saying if you‘re going to rant about how you knew a guy that jumped out of a 20 story building under the influence of acid, don’t waste your time attempting to discourage me. Ive researched this subject with care and have attained enough knowledge to have made my decision. Ive also had some experience with this to some degree. Ive taken pure DXM at high doses, a dissociative often compared to LSD in terms of effects. Anyway, I’m planning on taking it next weekend. I will be with no more than 5 close friends, only 1 other besides myself will take it. I’m taking it for recreational use as well as finding some insight. We will be isolated from other people. If experienced users could provide some advice or suggestions about what i post below, I’d really appreciate it.

I plan on turning off my phone and handing it over to someone sober. Dont want any texts going to anyone. I do want to listen to music though, I was wondering if I’d be able to operate an iPad. Without breaking it, ha. No wifi.
Lots of Pink Floyd!
I plan on listening to binaural beats, has anyone tried this? What would happen? OBEs?
There will be no television or power outlets, just a cabin on a hill, surrounded by fields. (Wanted to enjoy nature) We’ve all developed a bond with this place and I feel very comfortable there.
Little or no cell phone service. We are less than a mile away from my friends house, with a house phone and service.
I’m going to buy lots of food and drink, the end of wrestling season is the day prior of all this and since I needn’t weigh in anymore I think pigging out and enjoying it would really put me in a great mood. .
Before or after the onset? Specific drinks or food?
Smoke a small amount of marijuana before taking the acid to ease the onsetting anxiousness or pass?
Acid is in blotter tab.
Hopefully I don’t experience a bad thought loop.
Wrestling ending will be relieving and make me feel a lot better, I expect to be in a great mood the entire day.

Binaural Beats answers:

Don’t take MJ with it. I remember when I took it with some friends I was the only one that didn’t do it with MJ. I realized that we bought fake LSD because I never experienced anything but my friends who took it with MJ thought that they had done it.

I don’t think you will be that inclined to eat so I don’t know why you are buying a lot of food and drinks.

Richard asks…

How can I boost my concentration on school?

My concentration is just to bad

Binaural Beats answers:

Hello,

Here are some tips for you:

Work in relatively short bursts
A lot of people find that if they focus their attention on a task for about 25 minutes or so, they can just about manage that. After that time, their concentration wanes and they find themselves day dreaming.
So set the timer alarm on your phone to go off after 25 minutes. But until that happens, work solely on the task in hand. Give it your full attention and concentration.
Then give yourself a rest for 5 minutes – get up, brew a cup of coffee, take a short walk, whatever it takes to allow you to “break state”.
Then come back, refreshed, and go through the cycle again.
You’ll be pleasantly surprised how well this affects your powers of concentration.
Play music in the background
Music is a great way to mask the sounds of the outside world. You’ll pay attention to the music rather than the traffic going past your window or the rain pouring down from the sky.
Put on some gentle music (or loud, aggressive music if that’s more to your taste) and play it while you concentrate.
If you’re into things like binaural beats, there are some great tracks that are specially designed to boost your concentration levels and you can play these in the background, on loop, whilst you engage in whatever task it is that needs your full concentration.
Check your posture
Our posture affects a lot of different things and that includes our ability to concentrate.Make sure that the chair you’re sitting in is comfortable and supportive.
Don’t slouch!
And resist the temptation to spin round on your chair or rock backwards and forwards. It’s only your mind doing its best to give you an excuse to stop concentrating.
Reward yourself
We all react to rewards.
Once you’ve hit your target for concentrating on your subject for however long you’ve set yourself, reward yourself.
This could be something simple like a candy bar or even just a slightly longer break. You’ll know what is likely to work best for you and will incentivize you to concentrate better for long enough to get the task completed.

Good luck!

Maria asks…

Can you recommend a good book about how to deal and overcome anxiety?

I’ve always been an anxious person, and a little pessimistic too. However, in the last few weeks it has been a little more intense. Recently, I relocated to another city after accepting a job offer and I’m constantly worried that I’m going to screw up and lose my job, that I will make my boss disappointed, I’m worried about how my coworkers see me, I’m worried that someone will break into my apartment, I’m worried I will not make new friends or that I won’t be able to meet someone special, etc. You get the picture. I’m constantly clenching my teeth together, and in moments when I feel too overwhelmed I might feel like I’m a little out of breath. And what to I do about it? I lock myself in my apartment, I don’t go out to dinner or to the movies, I just spend a lot of time alone, which I know it’s not good either, because I feel overwhelmed with all these worries.

I’m looking for a book that can help me deal with this, that helps me to organize my thoughts better and let go of all the irrational worries.

Binaural Beats answers:

Please, please, please try this it will work. I was the same way, i was always paranoid and worrying about everything and stressed out. Its all in your head man trust me, mind over matter, we only use around 10% of our brain so i tried digging up the rest to help me out. Don’t take those meds they will make you like a zombie and don’t waste your money on a therapist. I did it all natural, it worked for me. You just got to have a strong mind meds and therapist are for the weak minded. First have you trained your brain into blocking out things its not hard when you get the hang of it. When you start getting bad thoughts find your center block it out. Second what is your center and how do you find it? That’s all on you, What do you enjoy doing that keeps your mind off things because, when you sit there and start thinking your mind wonders and goes deep into thoughts and you start freaking out, i know i been there. So for example my center is music and meditation it sounds dumb but it works to calm you down, i suggest you listen to the bands tycho or boards of canada, listen all there songs but they are now my favorite music its like a trip-hop relax deep thoughts music try the song (Dictaphones lament by tycho) or (dayvan cowboy by boards of canada) put in your head phones and turn it up at a comfortable level, with nothing going on around you, focus on the music and the tones, like see the tones in your head when you hear them. When your mind starts relaxing and gets deeper on focusing. I think about good times with friends family any type of good thoughts, warm sunny days over bright green long grass Fields wind lightly swaying them back and forth, swimming deep in the ocean, walking on the moon looking for the meaning of life, looking at everyone below me as i travel different countries and places and feel myself connecting to life on a higher level its meditation for me, finding my center and blocking out bad thoughts just relax as much as possible, one day when you advance in finding your self and your center look into binaural beats, they can work beyond your thoughts. Im 26 now and wish i did this befor..i hope it helps you like it helped me just give it a try because remember its all in your head and mind over matter and your brain is very powerful you have to controll it the right way not let it take you over and put you in depression. Good luck and let me know if its working for you
